• Good Raingear
• Good boots or shoes preferably waterproof
• Good pair of gloves. It can be cool in the morning
• Hat to keep sun off head
• Bug spray (15% DEET or better) and suntan lotion (SPF 25 or better)
• Polarized sunglasses to help see fish in the water
• Camera to take pictures of the big one
• Layers of clothing
• Medium weight spinning rods with 12 to 14 pound test line
• 12-inch black steel leaders
• #2 spoons in 5 of diamonds, red & black, green frog, blue and silver for trout, the old standby red & white and also medium size crankbaits work great but there are too many hooks on them for my liking.
• I have a small tackle shop with some supplies
• The lake is classified as CR2 so all hooks need to be barbless
• You can keep 3 Northern Pike 30-inch or under and 2 Lake Trout 26 inches and under
• All bedding, towels etc... are supplied with showers on site with dining in the main lodge
• Bring your own pop, beer or beverage of choice. We have lots of water and different juices
• Last but not least; bring along the sunshine and have a great time
